Unlike working with a digital camera, when you are working with film, you have a limited number of photos you can capture per roll. Using an analogue film camera also requires a bit more technical knowledge and skill in how to work with different lighting situations. As film wedding photographers, we choose our moments carefully and compose much more intentionally.

Aesthetically, we love the soft, grainy and unique quality of analogue film. Your memories won’t be sharp, so your photos don’t need to be either. At weddings, we find that guests always seem to have a personal connection or childhood memory about film photos. It evokes a sense of nostalgia and reminds us of simpler times.
